By delivering meaningful data sources to the market by compiling diverse categories of data, our client provides the infrastructure essential to the sectors of financing, payment services, and manufacturing.
All payments in Korea are handled through their payment services infrastructure across all payment methods. The semiconductors in IT devices/ smartphones that we use every day and the core parts of automobiles are also made with their technologies.

Project Overview

DevCore built a credit-scoring web application - to be used by banks and financial institutions to evaluate the creditworthiness of a customer. It uses a variety of data, including credit history, employment history, and other financial information to generate and track the customer's credit score.

Key functions: checking credit scores, profile verifications, OCR and Face matching, CIC information and report inquiry, loan application review, etc.

Challenges

When it comes to fintech activities, the web application delivers various functions that require complex data extraction, management, and security. Our development team  must use various types of encryption, and authentication processes across the entire app to ensure data security, instant data updates, and visualization.

Running such a complex system smoothly, in real time requires various tech stacks to be used at the same time. This leads to huge challenges in making sure all of them run well together.

Solutions

DevCore built two different web applications: a BO app for admins to manage users (financial institutions and customers), and a B2B app for financial institutions to track customers' information and credit scores.

We utilized all the latest tech stacks, integrating all of this into one system as well as ensuring it runs and can be updated without any hassles: Front-end: Angular JS, React JS;  Backend: Node JS, Java.
